Pros

-Discretionary Time Off -Most employees are hard workers

Cons

-Managers/supervisors change every 3 months, thus causing an issue with escalation processes -Minimal onboarding (if any) -Training is done while you're on the job (not good in tech ed), causing excessive bugs/holes/miscommunication -Constant (excessive) online training for security with harsh due dates, yet most of the products aren't checked for compliance. Also, excessive emotional training. -New team members on a weekly basis, usually from India or Folsom CA -Silo-ed departments/products & employees don't work together/disjointed -Constant product name changes -Constant product owner changes -Dog eat dog world - numbers are all that matter -Micromanagement -Constant software changes (not updates, changes). -High turnover since last acquisition -Unnecessary daily/weekly meetings -Must put on your time sheet that you took lunch when you didn't (due to California laws) -Uneven hiring distribution of teams. Some teams have one person who handles 50+ accounts and are overwhelmed; others have too many team members for additional support. -No logical internal promotion/ review-raise structure. Managers know nothing about the product they support (nor have been trained), and raises are based on performance, they are based on how PowerSchool did. -There's no focus on job duties. You'll wear many hats by default. -No communication skills across management. Short notice is common. -Low morale in several support departments -They tell you to ask questions, yet don't give relevant answers

Pros

There are literally no pros that I can provide

Cons

Was here less than 3 months and laid off due to reorganization, redundancy and lower than expected revenue in the first half of the year, even though I hit my Q2 quota. Literally laid off on the last day of Q2 when I brought in a large (over $75K) new sale that I won’t even see the commission on. Worst company and employee experience ever. Changed my account base and account quota twice during the quarter. They overcharge their customers with their yearly “uplift” without any added benefit or value to their services. They are a complete mess and it’s no wonder why their customers are leaving and cancelling their renewals. They have lost all trust in PS. They should be called POS. Their customer/tech support is awful and will take weeks if not months to resolve a customer issue. SLT just says “work harder, build a fake pipeline so that Severin or Bain will think we are doing great!” Ugh. Gross. 20/10 do not recommend.
