Pratt & Whitney

Part of RTX

Is this your company?

A very demanding place to work, and at or beyond the limits in terms of individual span of responsibilities. - Product Support Engineer Pratt & Whitney Employee Review

Pros

Good people, compensation, benefits and opportunity.

Cons

Everyone is responsible for everything, and no one seems accountable for anything. Dilution of individual job responsibility and specific duties in the context of "lean - whatever" is not conducive to personal satisfaction and fulfillment, and has led to mediocre performance and poor moral throughout the organization.

Pros

Very good company to work for. A lot of learning available for interns and everyone is extremely open to talking to you and teaching you whatever you want to learn about.

Cons

No cons come to mind for now.

Pros

Great Benefits. Competitive compensation. Recognizes hard work. Engagement events.

Cons

Too politically correct. Need straight forward feed back instead of don't want to make things awkward conversations. Big corporate obstacles to getting work done.
