Pros

I've been with the company for 14 years, which speaks volumes about the opportunities available for employees who are willing to learn, grow, and take on new challenges. I started as a receptionist in an aerospace manufacturing facility and was given opportunities to advance into HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, HR Generalist, and most recently, a Senior Talent Acquisition Analyst supporting a remote recruiting team. Throughout my career I've had the chance to work with talented colleagues, supportive leaders, and teams that encouraged professional development. One of the things I've appreciated most is the ability to build a long-term career within the organization rather than feeling the need to leave to advance. The company has evolved so much over the years, especially with technology, recruiting practices, and remote work opportunities. I've been fortunate to gain exposure to multiple areas of HR and talent acquisition, allowing me to continuously expand my skills and contribute in new ways.

Cons

As with many large organizations, processes and decision-making can sometimes move slowly.

Pros

Precision Castparts offers the opportunity to work for a global leader in aerospace manufacturing with the stability of Berkshire Hathaway ownership and a strong reputation across the industry. Employees gain experience in highly regulated, technically complex manufacturing environments while working with major aerospace and defense customers. The company provides opportunities for career growth, exposure to large-scale operations, and the chance to lead meaningful continuous improvement initiatives that have a measurable impact on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Cons

The work environment at Precision Castparts can be demanding, with aggressive production goals, high accountability, and long hours during busy periods. The organization's size and established processes can make decision-making and implementing change slower than at smaller or startup companies. Depending on the facility, employees may also encounter legacy equipment, significant operational pressures, and the expectation to support production outside of normal business hours to meet customer commitments.
