Pros

Great money if your good with people and if you don't mind ripping people off daily. They provide company truck and gas card which you can take home every day. Direct deposit.

Cons

They want salesman, not technicians. Your going to be driving a lot throughout your day. This job is better for single people without families, and with no financial problems. You have to buy all your own tools. The office staff either always have attitudes or make it seem like your asking the world from them when you ask them to do their job. Trucks get used every day, eventually they will need maintenance or repairs, at which point you will have to move into another truck. Of no truck is available, you wont be working. There are better companies out there The pay is set up so you are pushed to sell people more than what they need. If you don't, you wont make enough money to take care of yourself. Under $300 is 10% commission (before taxes, after parts for everything) $301-800 is 15% commission $801+ is 18% commission If you sell a door its 7.5% after the cost of door. So if you sell a door for $1000 and the door cost you 350 ( the door actually costs the company a lot less, but they're charging you more in cost) they pay you $50 after you just made em $800(roughly). But that same door you just charged someone 1k for, others are selling for 500 or 600.

Pros

Great pay. Autonomy and ability to be self-driven at work to achieve goals. Leadership cares about personal growth and development. My particular location is very progressive in terms of support for diverse populations of employees (especially LGBTQ inclusivity).

Cons

Some days are slow, others have overtime hours. Hard to schedule free time around an unpredictable schedule.
