It's definitely the most reactive, disorganized unprofessional environment that I've ever worked in. There is no training, no tools, professionals are non-responsive on projects and when they do finally respond, incomplete and/or inaccurate information is provided. This job was a complete nightmare that sucked time out of my life that I'll never get back. The unprofessionalism and finger pointing is mind blowing. I read the reviews before I took the job, but went against my better judgement and left a wonderful company, only to soon regret the move. I knew I was in trouble from day 1 when I saw the lack of resources provided. When I would request pricing along with other information needed for projects and it was literally pulled out of the air, I started updating my resume. No science, benchmarking, justification, algorithms, etc....Just, "I think I used $3,000 on a similar project last year, so go with that". My co-worker once thanked someone for their assistance and a Senior VP was on the email chain. Although the email wasn't addressed to her, she responded and told my co-worker not to waste people's time with useless emails because "thank you" is implied and it's just 1 more thing to delete. Funny part is that she sent thank you emails at her discretion. Absolutely no checks and balances in place to ensure appropriate, professional, adult behavior. I was repeatedly assigned Scientists to assist with technical information only to never receive what I needed to finalize projects. The times that I did receive information, it was incorrect or inaccurate. Employees are walking out and clients are leaving daily. Project Managers aren't afforded the opportunity to actually manage projects, because they're creating change orders all day for every project. Any experienced professional knows that if you take the time to properly scope a project, you decrease the likelihood of constantly having to make changes. Don't make the same mistake that I did. Trust the reviews. The environment is tactless, reactive, toxic and lacks tools, processes, procedures and training. Point to remember...you can't get unemployment if you quit.
