Pros

Many people come hoping to make a difference in an industry that has the opportunity to be a help in people’s time of crisis. Call customer service and you will encounter people that go above and beyond your expectations to help.

Cons

Management has no confidence in employees, much more trust in contractors and vendors. Maybe that’s because I have yet to see management evaluate employees skills and interests when assigning teams, projects, or tasks. Don’t bother taking your manager into consideration when you interview because you will soon be reorganized to a new group or division. Everyone hopes their strengths were considered in their new positions, but see no evidence. Further, even if you thought there was a plan for advancement, you keep finding efforts reset. Advice: don’t believe there is a career path within your group. You will need to apply for openings to grow.

Making a difference in the healthcare industry, and in the lives of our customers, requires profound change. And has required that we make changes to how we've traditionally done business and structured our teams. We recognize that it is not always easy or comfortable, especially for those that have seen changes to their team or reporting structure. While we have worked to help employees better understand the direction of our company and improve communications through initiatives like our All Employee Call and Employee Forums, there is still room for improvement. Employee feedback is essential to our continued transformation, so we encourage you to reach out to your HR Business Partner to discuss your experience further.

Pros

Remote job Good pay Decent Benefits

Cons

Overbearing, toxic management who don't really care about you as a person and your health, it's all about getting those numbers, I'm guessing that is how they receive their bonuses. People on the "team" who are not nurses makes you question why they needed some that were RN's. Unclear goal, unsure what it is that this position actually does for their members. Micromanagement.
