Pros

Benefits, Telecommuting, Campus redesign, Location, Pension. There are still some left that know the importance of valuing employees, but they are becoming fewer and farther between with each lay off. Many that are left are self serving and disinterested in ideas outside of their own.

Cons

Premera used to be a good company, where trust, loyalty, integrity and care for employees and members was Important. A place to be proud to work for. Upon return, in recent years, there has been a shift in culture, where the right WORDS are said about customer focus and the employees being the most important asset. In practice - tenure, knowledge and experience in employees are no longer respected and there is no longer the focus and attention on how best to serve customers that there used to be. Now the focus is on how quickly things can be done, period. Quantity vs. Quality. Check off the box- call it done and say "Look what I Did." Opinions and input are not valued. In fact, those that have tenure are the first to go during a reduction in force as a way to quickly save money and maybe to do away with the previous Value based culture? There is no loyalty to dedicated, long term employees who have the most knowledge and ability to speak to and help resolve issues. There is no plan for those that are left to manage the huge body of work left by those that are eliminated. The message to those that play the politics game, with no integrity, no values or loyalty to anyone but themselves is "That is how you get ahead here". It is disheartening and those of us that stay in spite of this culture are doing so because we need a job. Very sad that things have come to This.

Pros

Remote job Good pay Decent Benefits

Cons

Overbearing, toxic management who don't really care about you as a person and your health, it's all about getting those numbers, I'm guessing that is how they receive their bonuses. People on the "team" who are not nurses makes you question why they needed some that were RN's. Unclear goal, unsure what it is that this position actually does for their members. Micromanagement.
