Pros

Well intentioned and the individual people are great to work with. Really good internal education opportunities if you choose to take advantage of them. Great Lean/KPO office, optimistic about the way things could be better. The new CEO might help push this company forward into real innovative thinking. Very stable, careers can last for 30+ years here. Great work life balance in most departments. On site massage therapist is excellent! Cafe is solid but nothing special (have the salad or a great soup.) The EAP program is the best kept secret, use them for everything; they are practically a concierge service and seriously under utilized.

Cons

They are so risk adverse that they, in turn, risk staying an 'old world' company to their own demise. Run by committees of committees it's nearly impossible to find a single decision maker that doesn't have to consult with their colleagues, boss, dotted line report, VP of their org in order to make a decision like "yes let's add this new field to an internal tool." When the Affordable Care Act lit a fire under this company there were some serious and real tries at change, but once the 'danger had passed' the board lapsed back into it's choleric ways. Worst health insurance I ever had, even on Premera plans provided by other employers. Semi-required health screenings and wellness programs seem invasive and while they may notice that employee health is not good, they don't do much to support changing it other than threatening to raise your rates... ahem... remove your discount. No Gym discount, some healthy food in the cafe, but lots of junk snacks, high co-pay for counseling/mental health support.

Pros

Remote job Good pay Decent Benefits

Cons

Overbearing, toxic management who don't really care about you as a person and your health, it's all about getting those numbers, I'm guessing that is how they receive their bonuses. People on the "team" who are not nurses makes you question why they needed some that were RN's. Unclear goal, unsure what it is that this position actually does for their members. Micromanagement.
