Pros
The pay is competitive for the area. The health benefit are pretty good. Some departments offer full time work from home. They have an annual employee appreciation celebration every year and give a nice gift.
Cons
Management does not listen to their employees, they are only there for management. Time off is impossible to get. Its all who you know if you want to get promoted. They tell upper management projects can be done faster than the team can do them. They over promise and under deliver. They play the finger pointing game between all other managers not one of them will take accountability. They require you to work overtime and if you ask for time off you have to use your PTO hours for the overtime hours not worked that week and they pay it as straight time. They say they are a pay for performance company but even if you perform at a 4 rating (the highest rating) the raises are always the same so its no use trying to go above and beyond you might as well be a slow performer because you will get the exact same increase.
