Pros
Snacks in the break room. Nice building and location. The coworkers on the floor were very nice to work with.
Cons
Unfortunately, a complete know-nothing was put in charge of Corporate FP&A and instead of addressing the real problem (that guy), they cycle through a never-ending parade of competent consultants that get thrown under the bus any time the newly minted VP makes a crappy call--often. They provide food in the break room, but its all "health food" (think 10 different flavors of lacroix and RXBars) that the execs want, even though they're in the office like once a week. The HR lady told me that the CFO was allowed to make "bougie" requests for "healthy" candy bars that everyone else hated, but we had to put up with what we were given. I asked why even provide snacks for everyone if no one likes what you've provided. I started providing snacks that people actually wanted out of my own pocket. It was sad to watch this formerly family-owned company mismanaged by the then-leadership staff. I never saw any brown or black people at Corporate. Maybe 1 hispanic lady...or maybe she was Greek. It's hard to remember; I've tried to block it out. They don't phase out consultants. They tell them to work from home, then cut their IT access. Every consultant they ever bring in get fired instead of transitioned out. It's professionally barbaric and violent.
