Recognition often prioritized basic expectations (such as perfect attendance) over outstanding performance, initiative, or work ethic. Limited opportunities for career growth and advancement. Strict attendance policies made it difficult to account for unexpected circumstances. PTO accrual was limited compared to the company's expectations of employees.
