Pros

There is always steady workflow. Maintaining a fleet of charter Jets is very rewarding and takes a group of well trained and skilled individuals. We take pride in our work and thrive on meeting goals. Returning safe airplanes to service is our No.1 goal. With these characteristics, we have a great maintenance department.

Cons

Maintaining a fleet of part 135 aircraft can be challenging. There are times we need to meet the needs of the company and return to service airplanes as soon as possible. This requires working outside the normal business hours on occasion. This is not necessarily a con, but just how this challenging industry works.

More work then you can mentally handle and at the limit of your physical abilities

Where shall I begin? A lot of good highly skilled people who actually gave a crap walked out after burn out and incredible micromanagement by a leadership who easily forgets who works to line their pockets. A COO who left the company twice and returned for a third time. A CEO/owner who is clueless about the people that work for him and a senior leadership “team” that is like a revolving door at the dollar store on half price sale days. There have been 7 HR directors and 4 CFOs in 3 years. In my time there, I’ve seen well over 200 terminations.
