Pros

- Traveling for training's: You get to travel to NC, AZ, TX, etc... - Flexibility of schedule: You can basically create your own schedule but it is frowned upon to have off weekends or work less than 5 days a week -Health Insurance: Actually, this used to be really good but i recently had to go to the doctor and was then sent a bill for over $100 even though it was "in network" so I think something has changed because it seems to be crappy now. -My boss is amazing and is underpaid and unhappy as well...also looking for a new job

Cons

- PAY!!! It is beyond low.... They pay you for your gas mileage since you are required to drive around but that doesn't cover the wear and tear on your car not too mention some reps only have 4 stores while others have over 8 and all reps are paid the same no matter how many locations you have or how much area you have to cover...Sometimes places you have to go are over an hour away from each other and while you do get paid while driving, it is a minimized amount from your regular hourly pay!!! I have received ONLY 2 raises in 4 years and they have both been under 3%... yea literally .35 cents! How can you even live as an adult with no other income, govt. funding, or support on under 30K a year?? THIS IS A HUGE DEAL FOR ME AND I AM CURRENTLY LOOKING TO LEAVE AFTER HAVING BEEN A LOYAL EMPLOYEE FOR SO LONG. Unfortunately, that does not matter to them.. - Working Hours: Trust me, you end up working 55-65 hours a week with driving from store to store, doing reports, taking photos, updating all the social media sites they MAKE you create, ETC...But you do not get paid for those hours unless you are in store or on the road and it is impossible to get all that stuff done when you are in store because you HAVE to stay a minimum and maximum of 2 hours...Except when you have selling events and then you are stuck at a store for 4 hours. And if you want to work more than 8 hours one day because you know you have something to take care of the next day that will not allow you to work a full day, well that isn't allowed either. They do not allow people to work more than 8 hours a day and if you do, wait to get a call or nasty email about it! - PTO: You accrue time BUTTTTT you are ONLY allowed to take off time in increments of 4 hours!! So if you need to go to a doctors appointment and want to still get in a good amount of hours, lets say only work six hours that day, TOUGH! You have to take off 4 hours or a full 8 which cuts into your PTO time when you want to take a vacation. And if they are your hours that you earned while working, why wouldn't you let your employee take time off, an hour at a time, or at least in increments of 2 hours! -Promotion/Growth: NONE! Absolutely none at all... You will never grow at this company, so if you are a college student just trying to get some work experience, this job is great for you.. If you are over 24 years old and trying to make a living and/or career, look elsewhere.

Pros

I have an amazing supervisor

Cons

Jobs assigned to you are 100% your responsibility. Only part-time without benefits but I get assigned about 40 hrs a week. You get assigned an overwhelming amount of tasks that most often cannot be completed in time and you get penalized then. No raises ever. Constant driving, sometimes up to over a hour away, which you do not get reimbursed for the commute to your 1st store unless its over 60 miles away. Get reimbursed for only 1/3 per gallon if gas, which is much, much lower than the IRS issued rate. You don't automatically get paid for the time of driving between stores unless you explicity specify it in your time sheet; something they don't tell you either. I have an amazing supervisor, but my area is understaffed and the turnover rate is high. I cover 2 zones within my area. I frequently work 10-12 hr days, Monday to Saturday, for only $14 per hr. Workers who worked for Premium before the merge between Crossmark to Premium get paid much more, but the Reps who came from Crossmark did not get a raise to meet that level.
