Programs don't promote on performance; they keep low performing friends with no regard to the needs of the business. - Regional Manager Premium Retail Services Employee Review

Pros

- Home based role - With the right Director in place team of colleagues were close knit and felt like a family. (Things quickly changed when new Director was put in place.)

Cons

- Salary below industry standards. They oftentimes give you a skewed job title to stay under the radar (to not shine light on their lower pay). Regional Sales Managers should NOT be called Retail Sales Managers, that would be someone managing one store. - Directors are so concerned about looking good that they manipulate the field to ensure that they only have yes men/women in place. They didn't realign the business with their strongest talent, to ensure a major win for PRS and the client; they did the opposite. So it will make a lot of sense when the contract comes to an end; they put no thought into keeping substance. There's very few strong people left, and 2 were forced to work in a smaller role under the regional knuckleheads' direction when in reality they could run circles around their new manager. - Very disorganized company -- it takes a really strong manager to keep the field running smoothly with minimal disruptions in lack of equipment and uniform issues; fire drills that constantly don't make sense; approving timesheets on time, etc.

Pros

I have an amazing supervisor

Cons

Jobs assigned to you are 100% your responsibility. Only part-time without benefits but I get assigned about 40 hrs a week. You get assigned an overwhelming amount of tasks that most often cannot be completed in time and you get penalized then. No raises ever. Constant driving, sometimes up to over a hour away, which you do not get reimbursed for the commute to your 1st store unless its over 60 miles away. Get reimbursed for only 1/3 per gallon if gas, which is much, much lower than the IRS issued rate. You don't automatically get paid for the time of driving between stores unless you explicity specify it in your time sheet; something they don't tell you either. I have an amazing supervisor, but my area is understaffed and the turnover rate is high. I cover 2 zones within my area. I frequently work 10-12 hr days, Monday to Saturday, for only $14 per hr. Workers who worked for Premium before the merge between Crossmark to Premium get paid much more, but the Reps who came from Crossmark did not get a raise to meet that level.
