Unfortunately, this cons list is pretty large. Pay is almost unbelievably low - This could be due to the fact that I was with them for 8 years and never received a comp increase, while I'm sure newer hires were being brought in at hire rates as the years went on, but it was still pretty rough.
During slow periods, you can be lucky to get a few hours of work for the week, but during heavy periods, you can also work 50-60 hours and still be part time with no benefits or PTO.
Most importantly, they make it pretty clear that they don't care about their field team. Maybe they do with leadership, but in my 8 years, I experience many more unfit leaders than I did great leaders. From not willing to work with reps even though this is their secondary part time job to completely taking their work away.
I was very recently let go due to a manager stepping in to cover our market and her and I did not quite see eye to eye on everything and it lead to me being terminated. I spoke with upper management and there was absolutely no care or compassion or even an interest in hearing what I was experiencing as a field rep. Only what the unqualified leader said. There was also mention of things that were completely untrue that I even had a receipts of, but they cared so little that it did not matter.
