Pros
Benefits are fine. Salary on par.
Cons
Disorganization at some levels. Asked if I could work independently. Yes I can. But one cannot work TOTALLY ALONE with no one to offer input or questions - especially after only 8 weeks on the job. Actually 6 functional weeks since it was only after the first two weeks that I was finally connected to important software programs and connections. However, you'd get an email saying, "You now have access to such and such program", but no one to tell you the process specific to your role or department. Just a general overview via computer module that everyone in the entire system would receive. Manager did not answer my questions or discuss issues as they came up, but found it fine to discuss his/her personal hobbies, weekends, etc. Otherwise there was NO ONE to ask. Thank heavens for the very helpful ladies in Accounting who offered to work with me on which portions of the programs I'd ACTUALLY be using. Not at all a place that a person can thrive, grow or succeed. In order to be of more value to one's supervisor, department and, ultimately, the organization, one must be able to LEARN by asking questions. Knowledge is power. Working in a vacuum is insane.
