Pros
good work/ life balance, pay/benefits are decent, the co-workers are a pleasure to work with, the job/tasks itself are rewarding because you learn a lot by troubleshooting different cases
Cons
There is a lot of favoritism here at this company. If you work remote, expect to be forgotten by management. Basically you do not exist, only until something goes wrong, or if a concern needs to be addressed. Other than that, you do not exist to them. Management knows you are working only because of work related incident tickets, phone calls taken and and emails that you respond to. DO NOT expect a performance review, feedback on any level, positive recognition or an annual raise. Even if you ask for one, they will just give you excuses and give you the run around. The company moral is very low, because of management. Expect to be told about work related changes or new implementations last minute; like the day the change should occur. Not enough resources/ tool are given to get the job done. There is no formal training program for advancement or day to day operations, so If your looking to receive training to advance your current position, management will pretend to care and try to set you up with training information, but in reality they are just giving you the run around and referring you to other people, and in turn the other people are referring you back to management. It has been very frustrating to get any training, or information that would help better and enrich job performance. A lot of times we are left in the dark, playing guessing games or mind reading games, which has resulted to many of the employees to actively keep looking elsewhere for a better work environment.
