Pros

create you own schedule, good benefits, supervisors and directors support staff decisions well and trust them to do their jobs without hovering too much

Cons

the work itself can be challenging (at-risk youth are the clients), loads of paperwork to be completed daily, weekly, monthly

Pros

Some programs have fantastic culture, they hire/promote from within (room for growth), Ohio director is super hands on, stipends for school and overall pretty good benefits

Cons

Your experience here is very dependent on what program you work for- some supervisors and team leads create a collaborative and great work atmosphere, while others are retaliatory, create a culture of favoritism, and set you up to fail. Do what you can to speak with team members from whatever team you're applying for before you sign on to make sure you're not signing on with the latter type of supervisor. HR will protect the supervisor if you complain.
