As cliché at it is, the people were amazing. Great job if you’re looking to coast and not advance and great pay for remedial work.
Cons
Interesting company, a flat organization and not entrepreneurial. They want you to be ‘forward thinking’ and ‘think outside the box’ but you are required to work within their restrictive confines, processes and procedures. You become a doer not a thinker. This doesn’t allow for entrepreneurial thinking and one looks defiant if you color outside the lines. Dir level and above are involved in Assistant level work, this leads to doing not thinking. We’re told they want opinions but truly not the case. It just sounds good when said. Action speak louder than words. A company that is so successful does manual financial work in excel, leaving room for errors, continuous corrections and time wasted. Process improvement suggestions received push back from middle management because higher ups ‘don’t know the process’ nor were we allowed to explain because ‘that’s how it’s always been done.’ Lack of open mindedness. Terrible health insurance for a healthcare company. Worst I’ve ever had.
