Pros
I found changing availability, managing direct deposits and other personal matters to be very easy with their system. They'll work with anyone willing to work, and they accommodate as much as they can. Management were great at protecting employees from abuse or harassment from customers.
Cons
My experience may not be universal. There's a lot of newly renovated "Market 32s" and nicer stores in more populated areas. I think my Price Chopper was like a C or D tier Price Chopper tbh. The bathrooms were always putrid. The break room had literally nothing for employees, not even a coffee maker. They had a microwave from 1991, and computers from the stone age. They pay you pennies. The grocery manager (aka the 3rd highest position in the whole damn store) was paid $16 an hour. One time there was a rat running around that they couldn't manage to catch for two whole weeks. Work culture was toxic. If you're doing it for high school work, it's about as tolerable as any other summer job you can get. If you're looking for full time employment: don't.
