Pros

- good place to work - pay is good - health benefits are good - other benefits are good tok like 401k contribution etc. - career opportunities are decent. - Some lateral move opportunities. But since its a small company there is less opportunities - CEO is great and knows what he is doing - management team is great

Cons

- as a new member of tech team th se are what I noticed in tech org - lots of long term employees whose knowledge has been stuck in past and they coast and are insecure with their tech knowledge compared to new hires. - employees who have stayed longer are in the habit of taking credits for others work - can’t really grow in tech as people who are in higher roles are bad engineers - tech practices in this company is lacking (what other companies have done 10-12 years ago is done at this place and long term employees act amazed. Its so laughable. Any recent employees have noticed that) -tech division seem to be split on longer tenured employees doing bare minium with bad practices and newer hires who do work but longer tenured employees jump to take credit - everything is controlled by very people in CT - bringing these to your LT doesn’t change much either. You can clearly notice the old guards not liking new hires as new hires are way more competent and old guards get insecure about their lack of tech skills - while I am not Mumbai employee I noticed long term employees treat them badly (they don’t like the fact that compnay is going global) but management doesn’t do anything to fix this - people are packed like sardines in nyc office. Not enough space or rooms for meeting

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We appreciate your positive comments about our competitive pay, benefits, and career opportunities. However, we are concerned about your perspective on our tech organization. Our technology team is focused on continuous improvement and innovation. We recognize the need to continuously update our tech practices and ensure all team members have the opportunity to grow and contribute effectively. We are committed to fostering an environment of mutual respect and collaboration, and we hope you had a chance to experience that part of our culture while you were here. If you were still with the company we would encourage you to reach out to your Manager or HR Business Partner and discuss in more detail what you were experiencing. Given you’ve already left we wish you all the best in your new professional chapter.

Pros

- Back to office minimum is 2 days a week which in NY is very good - Solid and stable company, lean and profitable in Booking Holdings - Opportunity to work on many topics - Good culture amongst peers and colleagues. I've found people very helpful and collaborative. - daily catered lunch in office

Cons

- Being lean means prioritizing ruthlessly, so sometimes initiatives will have to go the backlog - I did find that a lot of people take on more than their JD (there's amazing accountability), which also means that people can be very busy.

Thanks for the thoughtful review! We’re glad to hear you’re enjoying the flexibility of our hybrid model, the collaborative culture, and the opportunity to work across a broad range of projects. You’re right that we operate with a lean approach - it’s something we monitor closely to make sure teams have what they need to succeed. We ask teams to stay focused on the work that will have the biggest impact, and that sometimes means making tough prioritization decisions. If day-to-day priorities ever feel unclear, we encourage employees to partner with their Manager to help align on focus areas and impact. Thanks again for the feedback and for being part of the Priceline team!

Pros

Some teams support their employees and work on interesting projects.

Cons

Do not work for this company. My boss was so incompetent and unable to use techonology, she falsified PIP paperwork using a chronic health disability while lying that I did not complete my work -- in an attempt to fire me so people would not be able to see how poorly she understands the field of technology. Unforunta3ely for her, AI has adigital footprint when she realized she was caught and there was proof she was lying she fired me to cover it up. Long story short is I won the battle and would adivise anyone and everyone interested in technology or working for a company that has checks and balances on incompetent managers DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY.
