Pros

If you're interested in advancing on the because a Staffing Consultant in some distant future, sure, that's a pro. Otherwise, little to none.

Cons

I got recruited to work as a Recruiting Assistant, which is a misleading job title with a misleading job description. Basically, for $10 an hour, you have a large amount of office duties, but are also pretty much the receptionist on top of that. The job duties are vast, and no matter what you're doing, they expect you to take all calls and walk-ins and will push tasks off on you. PrideStaff is franchised, so you may get lucky and have a good boss, but at the Gainesville location the boss was never on site, the other two office employees wouldn't answer questions or help out, would put work off on me, and were rude. Because it's a small business, it's the owner's choice how to manage employees - meaning there was no safety net for unfair treatment. When I was training the new girl, she said when the other coworkers left the room, "Do they always talk to you like that?" so, it's not just me. No benefits at all. Literally none. No health insurance, retirement plan. And it pays $10/hour. No proper, formal training at all.

Pros

The location previously had a strong reputation in the community. The former team demonstrated genuine care for both clients and candidates. Employees created a positive and collaborative work environment. Customer service and staffing support were once considered high quality. Older reviews indicate a history of strong performance and client satisfaction. The review acknowledges appreciation for previous staff members, showing there was a solid foundation and culture at one point.

Cons

Significant decline in workplace culture after the management change around October 2024. Communication has become inconsistent and unreliable. Concerns regarding transparency in operations and decision-making. Employees, candidates, and client companies reportedly feel poorly treated. Perception of misleading information being provided. Loss of trust and credibility compared to the office’s previous reputation. Current experience no longer aligns with the expectations set by past reviews and performance.
