      Pros

      Work varies shifts delivering medications and IV bags to each floor to the Omnicell systems and Nurses' Stations. Omnicell prints reports for medications and narcotics to be pulled medications for pharmacist approval before delivering to each floor for stock, including OR, Radiology and Cath Labs.

      Cons

      You cannot leave until pharmacist has reviewed and approved anything to leave the pharmacy. So it can delay your delivery time frame because the pharmacist are too busy reviewing orders and talking to nurses on the phone. Omnicell prints duplicates so you are told to deliver medication when another coworker did the same thing.

      For a float position they tend to cancel a lot.
