Pros
Free Healthcare was a nice upside and the vacation accrual
Cons
Part of being employed by Prime Healthcare is first and foremost not receiving any formal training on your position, business practices, and so forth. Be prepared to teach yourself, or-- expect to be promised that you will be provided training and it fail to ever occur. If you work closely with upper level or corporate management, you can also expect there to be a major disconnect and an inherent lack of understanding from a high level. There is often unrealistic expectations that are matched with undeniable lack of communication on all fronts. If you are not able to deliver, you can expect to feel the consequences and be treated unjustifiably so. Retaliation is a reality, so beware. The culture is unfortunately every person for themselves, and not much of a strong team or unified presence. Very hostile work environment and shady practices constantly occurring. There are frequent lay offs, from entire teams to whole departments despite the looming growth of work to be done. If you don't mind working for a "family business" and are not looking for something reliable but just need to make a paycheck, this may be a good place for you. Otherwise, keep searching until you can find the perfect fit for you, and your work style.
