Pros
Company invest in advanced technology equipment to provide better patient care, and they are working to eliminate positions that are not needed and take funds away from patient care. They have went beyond the standard in their investment for advanced equipment for patient care. I am concerned about the lack of investment for advanced nurses with experience in patient care and the importance of having them there. They are the ones actually making the life and death differences.
Cons
New nurses with little to no experience are making the same or more pay per hour than most nurses with 10 to 20 years exp. New nurses are unable to work alone as it would be a safety issue with patient care. They need a lot of help to perform and safely care for critical patients. Over the last decade my pay has increased by a dollar. The information makes me feel I'm not part of the future investments for this company.
