Pros
Families and children were wonderful. Curriculum lays out a detailed plan of daily activities. All materials needed to perform daily tasks and lessons are provided. Regular staff outings to build relationships with fellow teachers. School involved in many charity events that included children, staff, and parents. Time each week to prepare for weekly lessons, gather materials, and create enrichment for classroom.
Cons
Management did not value the hard work that goes into providing children with a safe, structured classroom. Rarely praised. Filed complaints about coworker's inappropriate behavior towards children and no action was taken. Management seemed much more interested in "Primrose reputation" than necessary. More than one occasion of brushing issues under the rug - whether with a teacher or family behavior Raises are infrequent and pay minimal. Even with 10+ years in the ECE field I had to fight to get a tiny increase in pay. Very infrequent classroom observations. Only occurred before an accreditation or licensing visit.
