Pros

I love, love, love the Primrose philosophy. It's truly a well-rounded approach to early childhood education, with everything from music to foreign language, fitness, art, great Pre-K curriculum .. everything you want for a child. Teachers for the most part are caring, go-the-extra-mile types, and there is a good sense of comradery.

Cons

HOWEVER - training is severely lacking and, this being a low-paying job, it's hard to attract quality teachers. This creates headaches for staff, poor communication between teachers and management, and most of all doesn't do the children any favors. Turnover rate is high. Many substitutes are brought in, and put in a classroom without guidance.

Pros

I absolutely loved our families and their children.

Cons

From my first week of training, I could tell they didn't want me there. The assistant director is very dismissive and rude and the director is condescending. Never really had an issue with other staff members, but it was obvious the director and assistant director were trying to push me out. The curriculum director was so kind and sweet, but she left too, feeling like the director and assistant director were using her and walking all over her. I absolutely do not recommend.
