Pros
The children and their families are the only thing that keep you coming back.
Cons
My cons echo those of many before. While I only worked for a few short months at this place, I experienced the ridiculous nature of being ridiculed for calling out sick, regardless of the fact both children and teachers are allowed to come to school with covid. Working over 10 hour long shifts with nothing more than a 30 min lunch break and two timed bathroom breaks, being moved from infant room to infant room and randomly pulled out and questioned as to why I may be struggling. I faced catty behavior all the way down from management to my own co-teacher who in turn began spreading rumors about me not only to other teachers, but to management. This in turn was handled by not punishing those making my day a living nightmare, but by simply moving me to a new room and giving my co- teacher whatever she requested as she was known to cause trouble when she didn’t get her way. A month later this was then turned into my fault for not being “friendly” enough to my co-teachers. And being “bossy” in the classroom.
