-Toxic culture from the top down -Poor salaries and no compensation increases -No paid maternity/parental leave. You have to take FMLA, use your vacation time, sick leave, etc. -Lack of clear processes and procedures. There’s been so much employee turnover that no one knows what the process or procedures are. They figure it out as they go. -Leadership doesn’t value employee retention or know how to build a safe trusting culture. -Lack of diversity at the senior / executive level.
