Princeton has an inclusive and collaborative culture, meaning that projects are not driven by timelines. Time and effort are put into making sure that everyone who should be consulted on a project, is. The success of a project is not measured by how quickly it's completed but by the quality of the final product. There is true work-life balance. The compensation and additional benefits are excellent. There is very little turnover at Princeton.
Cons
It's difficult to come up with any cons. Depending on if you have dependents, the dental plan is sub par. This next thing is not a con but just to provide more context, most people who join Princeton mid-career have an adjustment period. This is because most are recovering workaholics and it takes a while to adjust to a truly healthy work environment.
