Working at Princeton University was a mixed experience. One of the major challenges was the workplace culture, which often felt unsupportive for staff not in higher job codes. There was a clear sense that the more you took on, the more was expected—without additional support or recognition. Unfortunately, this created an environment where you felt replaceable, rather than valued. Work-life balance was virtually nonexistent, and there was little to no flexibility or understanding when it came to family obligations or responsibilities.
