The culture is toxic.
In my experience, members of the leadership team simply want bodies in the door for most roles. 90% of the company has busy work while the other 10% talks big ideas to the investors that keep this company afloat. Turnover is astronomical. I have seen many of my coworkers quit due to workplace bullying by members of leadership. This is likely a product of the company being largely led by young people. This seems ideal at first, but in reality it leads to unethical business behavior and leadership with reckless abandon.
There is no HR department. We simply have a talent team that seeks to bring more bodies in the door as employees quit. As an employee, I have nowhere to go when I feel as though I am bullied by my managers. This happens because the talent team and leadership team is largely a clique that will not hesitate to fire individuals who seem like a threat.
For any physicians reading this, Privia does not have your best interest in mind. You are simply a source of fees for them. Privia seeks out vulnerable doctors who need business help. I have seen many physicians who wish to leave Privia but simply do not have the resources or patience necessary to do so. Read the fine print in your contract, learn about Privia's revenue streams.
