Pros

I enjoy working for Pro-Active Engineering and keep busy so the days go by fast. Employees help one another out and work together as a team to achieve the same goals. They provide employees with great benefits, vacation, and have a great family environment. Monthly company meetings keep everyone informed on the progress of the company as well as taking time to acknowledge birthdays, anniversaries and also Employee of the Week. The employees are definitely contributing everyday to helping Pro-Active pursue perfection.

Cons

Higher compensation - but isn't that a complaint everyone has?

Pros

Production workers are great people, most of the middle management is good but constantly handcuffed by the Operations Director.

Cons

Director of Ops is very conniving. He will constantly backstab, discredit and talk down about his peers, subordinates and production workers to make himself look better. On several occasions I saw him talk down and discredit employees that left the company as being at fault for his failure or poor performance. He has created a very toxic work environment where many production workers are looking for other employment. People literally walk on eggshells around him. He micromanages his managers and staff and does not allow them to do their jobs without running every decision past him and he refuses to listen to any input. He has literally told people that if it was solely his decision he would fire that employee, an employee who is very good and knowledgeable. Again a very toxic and sometimes hostile and tense culture.
