Poor leadership, high turnover rate, VERY racist - Account Executive ProCare Therapy Employee Review

Pros

It's actually not too bad for an entry-level job coming out of college. However, that's all it is... ENTRY LEVEL and very high turn over rate.

Cons

To make it as short and simple as possible... The pay structure is horrific. The base was 43k when I started and 2% commission until you move up trot the next level in accumulated revenue. The micromanagement is another major issue. Everything from your daily goals/plan and weekly reports to your leadership team and "Coaches", to constantly monitoring your every move. No matter how many interviews, deals, or how much revenue you've made, they still get on top of you about how many calls and unrealistic goals to reach certain metrics. You have no control over what you can or cannot work on and basically assigned whatever they force you to work on, instead of allowing you to utilize your skillsets for different areas and territories within the business. The company and its parent company Salient are very old school and fall behind the curve due to their lack of ingenuity and keeping up with industry and technological standards. Everything from their CRM system, to the tools and resources to reach potential candidates, to even creating a better work-life balance. Things like even a hybrid schedule could only be achieved if you reached a certain amount of revenue, and that benefit was stripped if you did not receive a contract in 14 days. What really frustrated me about this company was the work environment and favoritism within the company. I will not say all, but the MAJORITY of those that are successful or moving up in the company are either close friends, family, greek affiliates, or significant others of the current management/leadership team. And if those same people did not meet the metrics given or wanted to push things through for them, rules would be bent to make it happen and keep them around or promote them (Go figure!). Yet for others, they will be quick to get rid of you in a heartbeat even after making the company TONS of money. I think what got me the most was the amount of racism within the work environment, even though they shout up and down about their "diversity". If you were black, they were only under the leadership of certain managers, and we were also all clumped together in the same area "Coincidentally". There is so much more that I would love to express about this company and how a lot of great people were poorly treated, but I am sure you all get the gist.

Pros

Zero. I don't recommend this job to anyone. Run.

Cons

I don't even know where to start. This place was so toxic I promise you all of the AEs are trying to leave, they drain you mentally and emotionally and make it clear you're just a warm body in a chair to them. They OVERLY micromanage your every move, how long you went to the bathroom or talk to other coworkers, and closely monitor (c.harass) your every click on your laptop. They also lack cultural diversity you're not allowed to celebrate POC holidays or discuss anything they deem controversial (DEI). They don't believe in work life balance and recommend you work through breaks and evenings at home while simultaneously underpaying you. There's a lot of microaggressions from management. PTO - nonexistent/ They don't believe in WFH and take them away randomly as a power play. They control where you sit.. I could go on but I digress. Ps the positive reviews are (CFAKE)
