I have worked in a position for almost two years and took a pay cut to come to the position I hold now as it would give me "experience". I can honestly say this job put me to the absolute edge. I had to clock myself into a Promafia Psych ward due to how bad this place is. I now owe this soulless conglomerate a not insignificant amount of money while also being a college student. I can't leave because doing so would take that amount of money into slavery levels of debt you know due to their health insurance deciding that they no longer cover Promedica facilities so if I were to leave I would pay out of pocket upwards of $30000.
That aside I say the working conditions are not abysmal. I can come to work and mostly do my job until they implement their four or fifth "customer satisfaction initiative". These typically interrupt operations and frustrate patients as we spend all of our time working on this and not you know operating a gods be damned hospital.
As for getting a raise, good luck. You are lucky if you get a 10 cent raise every year. Surely that's enough especially given that we are a part of a multi-BILLION dollar organization.
I love all people and unfortunately this soul sucking organization has been bringing me closer and closer to hate.
