if you are in the right department you are able to have good work-life balance. But if you are in the "wrong" department you will have a lot of periods of time (i.e. 2 moths) were you won't see your family for weeks. Managers have each other's back but they in turn will throw their employees under the bus any chance they get. The company chews people up and then gets rid of them without even a beep. Someone you know for a long time will be there and then come Monday they are gone; and they weren't even given a chance to say goodbye to their colleagues.
