Pros

The pay was great, and it included overtime for full-time employees. If you are looking to make a lot of money and have the flexibility to work long and late hours, go for it. You'll also gain great experience working closely with clients with tight deadlines, if that's a style of work where you thrive. Additionally, depending on your position and goals, there is certainly a course for promotions and career growth.

Cons

Given some strongly tempting perks, the culture unfortunately is horrendously toxic and often manipulative. Disorganization, poor communication and malicious office politics often plague what would otherwise be a powerhouse of an agency. They have the talent, the technology and the capital to be an incredible place to work. Unfortunately, the management blatantly disregards the well-being and needs of its employees. If you are a person who has any difficulty whatsoever with mental health, you *must* avoid this company. There is absolutely no consideration for a work-life balance, and seeking to assert any balance whatsoever is often shamed. In any given week, you should expect to see at least one person overworked to the point of tears—this happened (and likely still happens) regularly. The upper management has and will continue to remove people from the company for personal and petty reasons. Even if that is not the explicit intention of management's actions, it's certainly inferred impact upon the employees. With enough effort from the top and pressure from employees, this can all surely change and Prodigious can become a great place to work. But until that happens, you would be better off to take a lower salary elsewhere—or perhaps even to be unemployed entirely, depending on your circumstances. Nobody should put themselves in such a turbulent position for a job. Take a hard pass on this one and keep looking—you'll be grateful for it.
