Pros
I’ve been on a fully remote schedule since day one, great benefits, supportive management and teammates. The idea is to support each other and help when needed- not everyone for themselves. My supervisor always asks me what she can do for me? Even management I worked with before I was so grateful for. They want you to succeed and become the best version of yourself. I have a great schedule during the week which offers me a nice work/life balance.
Cons
Unfortunately not everyone has the same quality standards as others, and sometimes reaching out to adjusters for questions on their claims really gets you no where as they did the bare minimum to get the claim moving and then dump it to the next department. I shouldn’t have to copy your supervisor on the third email to get a response. I make time in my day to respond to emails, so I ask for the same courtesy. Time off isn’t as flexible as it could be as it’s based on who gets the time in first to get it approved.
