Pros
Great atmosphere and colleagues tend to be very personable. It feels like management cares.
Cons
Overworked. Underpaid. Over -stressed. No safety net for colleagues that struggle. There’s something called available time, where you open your phone line and assist whoever calls in. 2/8 hours of your day is spent on that, and obviously you’re going to be helping the claims where the adjuster either hasn’t done anything, or is severely backed up. You can spend 25% of your time helping others vs. focusing on your own work.
