Pros

Pay was great. I’ve yet to find a job offering what prologis offered me.

Cons

This one is a little silly, but I had to go through 5 rounds of interviews to land my entry level job. It seemed a bit excessive. My views might’ve been different had covid not been a thing, but hiring on fully remote was challenging. Prologis did not transition well to remote. While companies like my father’s started making video after video for training purposes, prologis kept acting like they couldn’t wait to be back in the office and didn’t do much to help those who were fully remote. Training was nonexistent. There was 1 video made to help my position, but that was just one of the many roles I had to do. Our manager took us new kids in a teams meeting for a training session, and shared her screen for us to follow. It was tiny and I had no idea what was going on. They pride themselves on throwing everything at you and expecting you to keep up. Look, I’m a fast learner, but this was insane. Also, working on the lease reviews was not a fun task. I had to constantly bug other people on my team to help me. I really think the managing team are good people, my team seemed decent. But that couldn’t help the fact that they basically stranded you in this position.

Pros

Opportunity to work with large customers with exposure to many facets of real estate. Significant emphasis on teamwork and collaboration. You don't feel like you are on an island. Managers and management seek feedback. They do not want employees to suffer in silence. Many opportunities across different functions of the company.

Cons

Fast paced environment can create project fatigue. Priorities can shift quickly based on market conditions and customer demands.

Pros

As a Maintenance Technician, I take pride in helping maintain some of the highest-quality industrial and commercial properties in the industry. It’s rewarding to know that my work directly contributes to our customers’ success and operational efficiency. Working for Prologis means being part of an organization that prioritizes safety, training, and operational excellence. Having the right tools, resources, and support allows me to perform my job effectively and safely. I’m proud to be part of a team that values its people and invests in maintaining best-in-class facilities. I have the opportunity to solve problems, support our customers, and contribute to the overall success of our properties every day. I play an important role in ensuring our buildings remain safe, reliable, and operating at a high standard. It’s rewarding to know that my work helps support the supply chains and businesses that keep the economy moving.

Cons

The expectations for building maintenance and customer service are high, which can make for busy days, but it also creates opportunities to learn and develop new skills. Depending on the property portfolio, there may be times when multiple priorities need attention at once, requiring strong time-management and problem-solving skills.
