Pros

Stock is doing well Nice people to work with Flexible time off Great work life balance HR really tries to do their best with the small budget that they are allocated Good legal team Company has taken a lot of steps towards equal pay, anti discrimination & harassment training. Cross team collaboration is excellent Team hackathons give you the chance to turn your idea into a product. Decent bonus & ESP program.

Cons

Benefits are below standard and fall way short of other companies Poor 401 K match Poor health care premium contributions forcing employees into high deductible plans No paid paternal or maternal leave. You have to manage with California disability or family leave which is caped to a small amount No cafeteria, or gym . Has rampant parking problems Hard to request hardware upgrades, IT is very frugal

Pros

fairly lax with lots of time to do things

Cons

many. Former CEO ran things poorly and took in managers who brought along their problems and animosities with them. Not only that, they were allowed to invite their friends to come and join too, many of them owing their jobs to someone creating a bro culture. Even though top mgmt changed since the sale, its many of these people still there to this day. Most of the systems were a black box, existing engineers were mostly uncooperative to keep their knowledge to themselves, the offshore engineers in one particular country were especially bad for this. I have seen major accomplishments achieved by someone, where so many others had failed, only to get fired soon after.
