Pros

+Product sells itself, it works!! +Best of breed and best product portfolio on the market +Engineering teams are some of the smartest and helpful people +Large customer base +Marketing budget is great, and Sales Enablement tools are some of the best I've experienced

Cons

-Lowest paid employees on the market hands down, use and abuse, the top 10% of reps leave and most don't make it past their first year -Benefits are minimal and High Deductable Healthcare, employees pay a decent amount for their premiums especially if you have a family and young kids -The company invests in Executives and the Field Teams, everyone else is treated like dirt and you are only a number to them, revolving door -Managers are completely out of touch, the problems start at the top and dominoes down to the employees -Managers at every level are NOT invested in seeing their teams succeed nor in the career growth of the individuals -Quotas and metrics are extremely unattainable, almost NO ONE hits full ramp quota on the Commercial USA teams and don't hold your breath making it to Presidents Club -Drama and culture is toxic in this company from the top down in the Draper office, their Human Resources team is a nightmare and part of the problem and not the solution

Pros

fairly lax with lots of time to do things

Cons

many. Former CEO ran things poorly and took in managers who brought along their problems and animosities with them. Not only that, they were allowed to invite their friends to come and join too, many of them owing their jobs to someone creating a bro culture. Even though top mgmt changed since the sale, its many of these people still there to this day. Most of the systems were a black box, existing engineers were mostly uncooperative to keep their knowledge to themselves, the offshore engineers in one particular country were especially bad for this. I have seen major accomplishments achieved by someone, where so many others had failed, only to get fired soon after.
