Pros
Competitive pay, and due to a buddy system that is hiring poor managers/directors, they are desperate for leaders after so many have quit so you could easily get promoted.
Cons
Poor tools (MS Teams is the company chat program), cheap or nonexistent demo labs for SEs, culture has evaporated, many employees are miserable in their work, and the human resources team is extremely deceptive and dishonest. They promised my colleague a benefits package upon their departure, then claimed that getting a new job disqualified them and suddenly started claiming that the employee had performance issues (absolutely false). Everyone in HR is a complete liar so don't believe anything they say verbally...record it or get it in writing immediately. Employees from the ObserveIT acquisition and others are complete ice cubes when it comes to Proofpoint employees. It's not pleasant and creates a toxic work environment.
