Pros

Great Technology, Great Industry, and Security Ranking

Cons

THERE IS A REASON PEOPLE DONT STAY HERE MORE THAN 1.5 YEARS! At Draper they have had over 17 people quit in the past year of the sales team of 22!!! Retention and internal politics! They are way under paid for market value! Proofpoint screws people over on commission and managers don't care about ethics and what's best for the customers. They are only in it for money and will yell in your face and put you down even if you are a consistent top producer! CEO claims that he has a zero tolerance for dishonesty then the guys that are making bank because they are stealing opportunities get promoted! Benefits SUCK! No matching 401K I was asking about it for over a year and they kept saying it will come.. never does. You have to go hunt and kill your accounts then reassign territories and screw all your work over. They say you have unlimited amount of approved time off but thats only up to your manager I was told I already took 7 days off for the year I couldn't have any more and I was a top producer! NOT WORK FOR PROOFPOINT! It really shows what kind of company it is when people put fake reviews in for Glass Door because VPs and C level executives are worried about the truth coming out!

Pros

fairly lax with lots of time to do things

Cons

many. Former CEO ran things poorly and took in managers who brought along their problems and animosities with them. Not only that, they were allowed to invite their friends to come and join too, many of them owing their jobs to someone creating a bro culture. Even though top mgmt changed since the sale, its many of these people still there to this day. Most of the systems were a black box, existing engineers were mostly uncooperative to keep their knowledge to themselves, the offshore engineers in one particular country were especially bad for this. I have seen major accomplishments achieved by someone, where so many others had failed, only to get fired soon after.
