Good But Not Great - Customer Service Representative Prosperity Bank Employee Review

The company offers zero classroom training to new employees. Instead, other lobby employees, such as tellers, lobby managers, etc. who are already overworked with their daily functions, have to pick up the slack and take on new-employee training which is way beyond the scope of their expertise and pay grade. They do offer some fantastic webinars and ongoing training but it is only sparsely throughout the month with no real sense of cohesion. And, if you don't catch them live, you are out of luck! If you do happen to catch one live, you'll have to do it from your desk in the lobby or teller station where you are prone to constant interruptions. The company seems to be progress/change -averse; way too conservative. They do not allow any room for employee individuality, divergent thinking or creative problem-solving. They are painfully and stiflingly rigid and by-the-book. And, if you want to enroll for company benefits, you will get via email a 115-page document full of technical jargon and small print. Consider yourself fully briefed on your benefits. You're welcome. Why do so many people in upper-management share the same last name? Nepotism? Coincidence? I have no idea.
