Pros

Protiviti cares about its people and has a great mechanism to promote career growth. There is also built in flexibility if you maintain good communication with Management. There is also an excellent training environment, both formal trainings and great on-the-job training.

Cons

Flexibility and work/life balance depend on the industry and field of expertise, as certain individuals tend to work much longer hours. The level of travel can also be challenging if you work in certain industries / certain practices. At times, the focus on millennial happiness can result in non-millennials picking up the slack.

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
