Not what it used to be - Anonymous employee Protiviti Employee Review

Not the same company as when I joined 6 years back. The culture changed after the implementation of a new internal accounting system. Long gone are the days of routine team and client lunches which I used to consider as a part of my overall compensation (which greatly lacks compared to other big firms). Health benefit costs are increasing year over year while coverage levels decrease. Not sure how much of the increased costs are absorbed by the company since there is little transparency. Annual salary increase going into 2018 was borderline insulting. Management preeches getting back into growth mode but based on what we're seeing management is going into contraction mode. I wouldn't be surprised to see attrition skyrocket in Q2 after 2017 bonuses are paid out. Seems like strategy is "best place to start a career" but not " best place to continue a career".
