Pros

Pay is good to start but quickly gets non competitive Different company exposure Different industry exposure Great people to work with and young culture is excellent

Cons

Same kind of engagements Pay isn’t competitive after a year. Nightly work and weekends are pretty common. Pay does not reflect this. Promotion is generally time based not quality wise.

Your feedback is very important to us - this contributes to the great people and culture as you mentioned. I'd recommend discussing with your Career Advisor and Talent Manager the types of projects/engagements that interest you. We strive to give our employees meaningful work experiences and your input is extremely important. Our goal is to keep our employees engaged without feeling overworked. As we approach our annual checkpoints please consider discussing your concerns and providing suggestions for improvement. Best of luck in 2018.

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
