Thank you for this feedback! I'm so glad that you connected with Protiviti's vision and strategy while you were here. In the consulting environment, it can sometimes be a challenge to clearly see that vision play out in the day to day. We do have a number of programs in place that help our people float, to use your metaphor -- for example, our advisor program, our talent management function, and our career checkpoint process are all designed to help an individual achieve their full potential despite those obstacles. I also appreciate your comment around the welfare of our employees and could not agree with you more that this comes first. Thank you for reinforcing the importance of that point as we address the needs of your teammates who are still here. I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors!

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
