      Great people, bad career move if you are not in audit - Senior Manager Protiviti Employee Review

      Pros

      Leadership is really down to earth and cares about their people. Since it is a smaller company, you get the family feel and a decent culture. I established amazing relationships there. If you want to learn internal audit / risk management without being in the big 4, this is a great spot to be.

      Cons

      The solution offerings and project work are behind the times. Everything you work on will be focused around audit and compliance, even if you are in Technology Consulting.

      Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

      Cons

      Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
